Dr. Rezakhan or “Dr. Rez” as most patients & parents like to call him, is from Annapolis Maryland. He graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in biology from The University of Maryland Baltimore County. He received his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. His passion for treating children took him to Long Island New York, where he completed two years of pediatric dental residency at the Stony Brook University Hospital in 2012. Dr. Rezakhan fell in love with Arizona during his trip in 2011. He has called sunny Arizona home since 2012.
Dr. Rezakhan’s goal is to make your child’s visit to the dentist a fun experience while providing exceptional dental care that is in alignment with his conservative dental philosophy. “My goal is to treat all my patients as if they were my own children! I adore my patients, and I love getting to see their happy, smiling faces. I have the best job, and I look forward to going to work everyday”. As a healthcare provider, he understands the need to explain all the procedures to be performed on his patients. He makes sure these procedures are thoroughly understood by parents; peace of mind and situation awareness are key to develop a trustful parent-pediatric dentist relation. His communication and behavioral management skills keep patients coming back to see him, even if it is just to say “Hi”.
Dr. Rezakhan enjoys spending time with his wife and their three rescue dogs, Coco, Bambi & Chloe. He loves being around his six nieces and nephews. Yoga, meditation, swimming, hiking & mountain biking are some of his favorite activities. Dr. Rezakhan is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the American Dental Association. He is certified in Pediatric Advanced Life Support and BLS. He is also in the process of becoming a Diplomate of American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
